Volunteer

The Neighbors In Need staff provides an organizational framework within which over 60 volunteers work effectively.  The paid staff provides stability and continuity for what is essentially a volunteer social service agency.  Last year, the agency was gifted with over 4,200 hours of volunteer support.  Volunteers sustain the agency and perform nearly 40% of our work. Volunteers operate our pantries, assist with food drives, sort clothing, provide office support, design and technology, help with mailings and operate our Infants In Need and Clothes Bin programs.

There is always work to do and YOU are welcome to volunteer as you are able.

We are currently looking to fill the following volunteer positions:

Warehouse Volunteer: Assists the warehouse manager receiving and distributing food at the Warehouse.

Office Volunteer: Assists in running the Infants in Need and Clothes Bin Program.
